From the Front Row: The Kooks @ Terminal 5

Thekooks_terminal5_nyc   The Kooks rolled into New York City last night for the final stop on their U.S. tour. Road weariness was nowhere in sight though, as the boys from the U.K. ran an excitable Terminal 5 crowd through most of the tracks off their new album The Konk.

The band sounded good, and the driving force is clearly lead singer Luke Pritchard. Their stage presence wasn't too impressive at first - most of the time they stood still and played, even as the audience bounced. But they made up for any stiffness during the encore, which saw Pritchard come out solo and deliver an acoustic two-fer of Jackie Big Tits and Seaside, before bringing the full band out for the close.
