A.M. Nuggets: New U2 Single "Get On Your Boots" & Brit Awards Performance

I know yesterday we said 2009 may be the year of Bruce Springsteen, but clearly I overlooked another rock monster that will rear its head in '09. An Irish monster at that. U2 is readying the release of their new album No Line on the Horizon, due out in March. The advance billing has this as "their best to date," so you know, no pressure guys.
But one thing we know for sure is that their tour will be massive - still no firm dates but we'll post them here as soon as they get announced.
In the meantime you can catch U2 performing their new single Get On Your Boots at the Brit Awards next month (2/18). Don't get the Brit Awards on your US cable television? Me either, but we'll grab it off the web (maybe here?)and post it on WNEW - maybe by then we'll have some tour dates to go with it.
