WNEW Rock News: Shirley Bassey Performs

With over 135 million records sold since she started recording in 1957, Shirley Bassey hardly needs to record again at age 72. But record again she did and the results, entitled The Performance, will reach the public's ears next week.

To be released on Monday in the UK, The Performance features Bassey singing songs written especially for her by the likes of the Pet Shop Boys, Rufus Wainwright and KT Tunstall.
